Sakura On The Lake: Oil-Painting Nails『KADS Nail Art』

Sakura On The Lake—Oil-Painting Nails

April is the perfect season to enjoy sakura in full bloom. You must have seen loads of pictures or paintings of sakura on the lake. Why not get yourself sakura nails in this sakura season?
Nail art can be as artistic and sophisticated as oil-painting! In this tutorial, we’re going to sharing how to make Sakura On The Lake nails with the texture of oil-painting.

Apply one layer of KADS Stamping Polish 17 as the base color.

For the later cleaning, apply KADS Peel-Off Polish around the finger edges.

Put strokes of KADS Stamping Polish 17 and KADS Two-in-One Stamping Polish C35 onto a clean sponge.

Smudge these two shades to get a natural gradient effect as in this picture.

Dab it gently onto the nail.

This is how it looks.

Take a moderate amount of KADS Stamping Polish 17, then mix it with small amount of KADS Two-in-One Stamping Polish C35 on a clean spot.

Quickly dry brush the mixed shade horizontally onto the nail, creating the lake water texture.

Add some KADS Stamping Polish 03 and mix these three shades in the same way.

Continue to dry brush the mixed shade onto to the nail, adding layers to the lake water.

This is how it looks after dry brushing. Peel off the KADS Peel-Off Polish and clean the finger edges.

Apply a top coat.

For the later cleaning, apply KADS Peel-Off Polish around the finger edges.

Put a moderate amount of KADS Stamping Polish 13 onto the branch pattern. Scrap the polish with a scraper at 45-degree angle. Quickly pick up the design with a stamper. Stamp the design onto the nail.

Put a moderate amount of KADS Two-in-One Stamping Polish C37 and KADS Two-in-One Stamping Polish C34 onto the sakura pattern. Scrap the polish with a scraper for about three times to make a natural gradation. Quickly pick up the design with a stamper. Stamp the design onto the nail.

Pick the same sakura pattern with KADS Two-in-One Stamping Polish C37, stamp the design properly onto the nail.

Pick up the same sakura pattern with the mixture of KADS Two-in-One Stamping Polish C37 and KADS Two-in-One Stamping Polish C01, stamp the design onto the nail. Make sure not to overlap, creating multiple layers of blossom.

Pick up the Chinese Fairy pattern with the mixture of KADS Two-in-One Stamping Polish C01 and KADS Jelly Polish Cloud Dancer, stamp the design onto the nail.

Mix KADS Stamping Polish 25 and KADS Two-in-One Stamping Polish C38.

Draw two lines on the nail with the mixed shade, as the swing ropes.

Draw a line below with a liner pen dipped with KADS Stamping Polish 13, as the wood plank of the swing.

Peel off the KADS Peel-Off Polish and clean the finger edges.

Finish off with a top coat.
